CASB Fall Sports Make Big Impact

Our Career Academy high school volleyball and cross-country teams excelled during the fall season, achieving notable success both on and off the field. Impressively, five of our fall sport athletes received Academic All-Conference honors, with four hailing from the volleyball team and one from cross country. These outstanding athletes, all juniors or seniors who played varsity sports, maintained an impressive overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Furthermore, our teams secured recognition in the Hoosier Plains All-Conference, with Zion Taylor, Madeline Long, and Mason Rhodes earning 1st Team All-Conference honors, while Tala Tannir and Cierra Taylor secured well-deserved 2nd Team All-Conference distinctions. This accomplishment reflects the dedication and skill of our athletes.

Notably, both the volleyball and cross-country teams reached historic milestones by boasting the largest rosters in school history. Madeline Long made history by becoming our first-ever female regional qualifier in cross country, adding a special touch to the season’s achievements.

Congratulations to all our CASB fall sport athletes and coaches for their hard work, determination, and outstanding accomplishments.
